Camp NexGen™ Through the Eyes of the LGRRG Village

On August 6, 2022 at around 5:00PM Central African Time, we wrapped Camp NexGen™ Zimbabwe. Huddled around the registration tables we’d set up just 10 hours prior, we raised our cups to toast the end of a camp well done. Feelings of excitement and uncertainty at the start of camp, morphed into deep appreciation and admiration of the campers, volunteers, partners, and, the assignment. We all basked in the profundity of what we were able to accomplish over the 3-days for the local children, all while still processing the deep effects the experience had on ourselves.
